Ten 80s Space themed Tributes to 30 Years of Shuttle Missions:

1) The Final Countdown – Europe (1986)  The obvious choice and an 80s Anthem.

2) Clouds across The Moon – RAH Band (1985)  A great big slice of 80s Cheese. With a Love Story thrown in.

3) Planet Earth – Duran Duran (1981) Only came outside to watch the light fall with the rain, very Science Fiction Boys.

4) Walking On The Moon – Police (1979) Was still in The Charts in 1980, so it’s in….

5) Star  Trekkin – Firm(1987) A song for Trekkies everywhere, It’s life Jim, but not as we know it. Classic

6) Doctorin’ The Tardis – Timelords (1988) Even included a Dalek saying “Loadsa Moneyyyy”

7) Apollo 9 – Adam Ant (1984) A song named after an Apollo Mission, how appropriate

8) No Doubt About It – Hot Chocolate (1980)  A song about U.F.O. encounters.

9) Rocket – Def Leppard (1989) Their last Top 20 U.K. Hit of the 80s.

10) One Day I’ll Fly Away – Randy Crawford (1980) Not any more you wont, unless you hitch a ride with The Russians
