Back on The Chain Gang – The Pretenders (1982) It will be tough going back that’s for sure

Crushed by the wheels of Industry – Heaven 17 (1983) Don’t let it grind you down

Working my way back to you – Detroit Spinners (1980)  A great thought but most work to keep the Bank happy

Train of thought – A-Ha (1986) The train, looking forward to that wet and windy platform?

Down in the Tube Station at Midnight – The Jam (Chart re-entry 1983) That’s if the overtime really piles up

Ain’t nothing goin’ on but the rent – Gwen Guthrie (1986) How very true

Cars (E Reg Model) – Gary Numan (1987) One for those on the school run for the first time since late December
