Born on 9th March 1958, Martin Fry grew up in Bramhall Stockport. While interviewing for a magazine he edited, Fry met Mark White and Stephen Singleton who invited him to join their Band Vice Versa in a keyboard playing capacity.

The Band changed their name to ABC and the sound from Rock to a New Romantic tone. The most successful of their 5 studio Albums released in the 1980s was Lexicon of Love (1982) which reached Number One.

The singles from this Album were Tears are Not Enough, All of My Heart, Poison Arrow and The Look of Love (Part One) The Band split in 1992.

Fry is still performing today and makes regular appearances on the 80s revival circuit.

Happy Birthday, Martin from 80sLegends.
