Ok, I"ll own up, it was me. Yes i was about 14 when Hall and Oates had their hit "Cant Go For That", and i bought their album "Maneater".  I wrote to Jim'll Fix It, asking to meet them, cos i really wanted to have a go on their synthasizer, but i never got a reply back.

Still i heard a rumour that someone wrote to Jim'll Fix It wanting to meet a west ham goalkeeper. Lol

OK I admit it but Mervyn Day was the best Goalkeeper in the Country at that time…..Embarassed
