BRISBANE ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE 17/3/12
I WAS FRONT ROW CENTRE SIMON AT THE CONCERT AND ONE OF THE BEST CONCERTS I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO.
I MADE IT JUST IN TIME AND THANK GOODNESS, I MISSED THE DJ SUPPORT ACT.  SIMON APPARENTLY CUT HIS HAND SO HENCE THE DELAY IN STARTING THE SHOW.
THE BAND BEGAN WITH BEFORE THE RAIN – A SLOWER TRACK FROM THE NEW ALBUM TO CALM THE AUDIENCE.
SIMON’S VOICE WAS IN FINE THE FORM THE WHOLE NIGHT AND DID NOT FALTER ONCE.  IT WAS ALSO ST PATRICK’S DAY AND SIMON COMMENTED AS TO WHERE WERE ALL THE GREEN HATS.
PLANET EARTH WAS THE NEXT SONG THE CLASSIC SIGNATURE SONG AS I CALL IT TO GET THE CROWD MOVING AND GOING.  BOY DID IT EVER GET THE CROWD GOING.
A VIEW TO A KILL WAS THE NEXT SONG AND I LIKED HOW THE NEW STAGE WORKED OUT BRILLIANTLY TO EACH SONG.
BLAME THE MACHINES WAS THE NEXT SONG OF THE NEW ALBUM – A GREAT SONG, VERY CATCHY, I LOVED SPECIFICALLY HOW THE BAND STOPPED FOR NICK RHODES TO DO HIS SPECIAL INTRODUCTION TO THIS SONG.  ALWAYS A DIFERENT VERSION IN THE INTRODUCTION AT EACH CONCERT – MELBOURNE WAS DIFFERENT.
SIMON HAD A MALE AUDIENCE PARTICIPANT TO HELP HIM INTRO THE NEXT SONG WHICH WAS THE REFLEX – FROM THE BAND’S SEVEN AND THE RAGGED TIGER ALBUM.  THIS SONG IS ANOTHER SONG TO GET THE CROWD GOING.
COME UNDONE – FROM THE WEDDING ALBUM – WAS THE NEXT SONG TO BE SONG, A SLOWER TRACK BUT A GOOD ONE - SIMON SANG IT BEAUTIFULLY.
ANNA ROSS THE BAND’S ASST VOCAL WAS ASKED BY SIMON TO INTRODUCE THE NEXT SONG CALLED SAFE – ANOTHER GREAT TRACK FROM THE NEW ALBUM.
IS THERE SOMETHING I SHOULD KNOW WAS THE NEXT SONG AND THE CROWD WERE JUMPING IN FULL SWING AND ENJOYING THE CONCERT HALF WAY THROUGH.
GIRL PANIC – THE NEXT SONG, THE SCREEN WAS USED TO SHOW THE BAND’S VIDEO TO THE TITLE SONG AND IT WAS RATHER EXCITING SEEING THE ACTUAL VIDEO UP THERE WITH THE SUPERMODELS ASSIGNED TO IT AND HAVING SIMON SING IT LIVE.
LEOPARD – JOHN TAYLOR ASKED EVERYONE IN THE AUDIENCE TO CLAP THEIR HANDS FOR THE NEXT SONG IN UNISON TO THE MELODY OF NICK AND JOHN.  BRILLIANT SONG FROM THE NEW ALBUM.
NOTORIOUS – WAS THE NEXT SONG AND ALWAYS A CROWD FAVOURITE AND THE FAN PARTICIPATION WITH “NOO NOOO”.
WHITE LINES – I LOVE THIS REMAKE TO THIS SONG AND THE BAND PERFORMED IT PERFECTLY.
CARELESS MEMORIES – AN OLD SONG BUT A GOOD ONE TO GET THE FEET GOING AND STILL KEEP THE PACE UP.
ORDINARY WORLD – SIMON DEDICATED THIS SONG TO PEOPLE LESS FORTUNATE WHICH WAS BEAUTIFUL – A BEAUTIFUL TRIBUTE TO A BEAUTIFUL SONG.
HUNGRY LIKE THE WOLF – FROM THE RIO ALBUM HAS THE EXCITEMENT CONTINUE AND PERFORMED PERFECTLY.
SUNRISE – ONCE AGAIN AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION TO HAVE THE HANDS IN THE AIR.
WILD BOYS – AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION WITH “WILD BOYS”.
GIRLS ON FILM – THE SONG MOST USED FOR SIMON TO INTRODUCE THE BAND MEMBERS AT CONCERTS WITH SIMON BEING THE LAST – WHERE A SPECIAL AUDIENCE PARTICIPANT GETS TO DO THE INTRODUCTION.
THEN FOR THE ENCORE AND FINALE – RIO – THE BEST SIGNATURE SONG FOR THE BAND EVER NEXT TO PLANT EARTH.
THE BEST NIGHT AND BEST CONCERT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO AND IN MY HOME TOWN OF BRISBANE AND THE MELBOURNE SHOW WAS ALSO BRILLIANT WITH SIMILARITIES ABOVE.
ALLBAND MEMBERS WERE AT THERE BEST AND IN TOP FORM ON THE NIGHT – WONDERFUL CONCERT I WILL NEVER FORGET FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE.
I WANT TO DO IT ALL AGAIN – HOW ABOUT IT GUYS DONT FORGET TO SOME BACK SOON.
MY FRIEND SCORED ONE OF ROGER’S STICKS AND I SCORED A SETLIST :-)
