METRO September 2nd 2011:

The Canadian Broadcast Standards Council has reversed its January decision to ban Money For Nothing. The reason was that it was ruled the use of “little faggot”, in the 1985 hit song, was used satirically and not in a hateful manner.

Other banned songs include, Relax banned by Mike Read in the 80s, XTS’s Statue of Liberty bannned by the BBC in 1978 and of course The Beatles Lucy in The Sky with Diamonds in the 1960s.
