Top four for me right here
Needless to say YYZ would have been in there had it been released as a single..
What about Herbie Hancocks “Rock It”?
so what we’re really saying is it was a poorly thought out list and the author should be a little ashamed of himself
How can you say that? Considering that the four you picked were straight from someone elses list..infact you copied and pasted them so don’t accuse someone else of a poorly thought out list….if you wanted Rock it, why didn’t you put it in a Top Ten List as opposed of a limp Top 4
How about The Wizzard (theme to Top of The Pops) – Paul Hardcastle. He was more than 19 you know….
What about yellow pearl by Phil lynott or forbidden colours by sylvan & sakamoto
3 of that top ten have vocals in them so they can hardly be concidered as instrumentals. Also Paul Hardcastle’s ‘Rainforest’; Harold Faltermeyer ‘Fletch Theme’; Heads ‘Aztec Lighting’ to name a few
Very minimal vocals……with at least 90% (or more) instruments only
