The 80"s seemed to thrive on game shows, whether it be celebrities having fun competing against one another, or other ordinary people trying to win cash prizes, or the latest model of a car, or even a holiday. Some of the shows had carried forward from the 70"s like the Generation Game, and some carried on into the 21st century.
Here are a list of the ones that i have remembered so far: -
1. Catchprase
2. 321 – with Dusty bin
3. Countdown – this was the first programme to be aired on Channel 4
4. The Price Is Right – Come on down
5. Blockbusters – I'll have a "P" please Bob
6. Generation Game
7. Gladiators
8. Bullseye
9. Celebrity Squares
10. The Krypton Factor
11. Strike it Rich
12. Play Your Cards Right – "and what do points make" – "Prizes"
13. Give us a Clue
14. Telly Addicts
15. Name that Tune
16. Blind Date –
17. Family Fortunes - "Our Survey Says"
If anyone else can think of some more, please post them.

How about 3-2-1? Classic TV, Dusty Bin was a legend as was Ted Rogers. For the kids there was of course Runaround and Cheggers Plays Pop….

321 was on the original list i did, before i broke it down to a top 10 list. I'm afraid i favoured others game shows over that one tho.
Yes i remember Cheggars plays pop, and Runaround rings a bell.

Another one i did forget to put up on the list was "Game for a Laugh" with Jeremy Beadle, Matthew Kelly, Henry Kelly and Sarah Kennedy. A was bit like Candid Camera, where pranks were done on the public.
