Did anyone else see the One Show tonight, where Carrie Grant spoke to one of the Burrow Brothers whom owned the Rum Runner in Birmingham which was the Night club where Duran Duran were formed. It was great seeing the old footage of people dressed in the new romantic/Punk clothing and the way out hairstyles, and over the top make up, and dancing to the early 80s music, and a very young Boy George , Midge Ure and Marc Almond as well, as Duran Duran. It was on par with the Blitz club in London which was owned by Stever Strange  of Visage. Sadly the Rum Runner was pulled down in 1987.
