13th July 2010, Live Aid 25th Anniversary.
Thursday 13th July 2010 is the 25th Anniversary of Live Aid. Inspired bt Sir Bob Geldoff and Midge Ure and with the help of Music Promoter Harvey Goldsmith the Greatest Live Show of all time took place.
London and Philadelphia hosted the biggest names of the time in a huge effort to raise cash for the people of Ethiopia. Some of the greatest live performances of all time were witnessed by an estimated 2 Billion around the globe.
It is estimated that the Concert raised £150,000,000.
Today we remember the Greatest Live Music event in History and those intended to benefit from the funds raised.
