This is really hard. The more I think about it the more films I want to include. The 80′s really was a fantastic time for cinema.
Having initially narrowed my list down to 50!!! I have now decided upon 10 winners…phew, so here goes…

Personally I also love The Man With Two Brains, Once Bitten and The Company of Wolves as well. The big movies were great but it’s the smaller more quirkly ones I remember with most fondness.

I started the year wearing my Star Trek shirt and ended the year wearing box suits, pastel colour shirts and thin leather strip ties a la Gere in Gigolo.

It had the 80s stamped all over it with Tom Cruise at his best, Elisabeth Shue at her sexiest, a great movie poster and the music wasn’t too bad either, even with the Beach Boys in there!
