The story is based around The Bourbon bar on Sunset strip, in the 80s, Which is owned by Dennis Dupree (Justin Lee Collins), whom is desperate to keep the place open after being made an offer for it by Hertz and Franz whom want to demolish it. In Desperate measures he asks the Rock Band Arsenal with their lead singer Staycee Jaxx (Shayne Ward) to play their last gig there.

Its also a love story about Drew a want to be Rock star whom works as a waiter in the Bourbon bar and Sherrie a want to be actress, whom comes to LA to find fame, but she gets a little mixed up with Staycee Jaxx.

Its a real fun filled musical, that is full of brilliant rock songs, from Bonjovi, Whitesnake, Journey to name a few, from the 80s, fantastic humour, Spandex trousers and men with Long hair and great cast that sings and dances throughtout the the show. Fantastic entertainment, that makes you want to join in.

I would certainly recommend that you go and see this show, you will Not be disappointed.

Off to see Def Leppard soon and the Alice Cooper gig on 31st October, should be scarey

Yep I've got tickets to see DL supported by Motley Crue and Steel Panther (who should be FUN!!)

Support act Heart were not too bad however all the rockers we know and love are now being done as semi-accoustic numbers which, while still good, was a little disappointing.

But then it was the turn of the steel town boys... Def Lepard. 30 years in the business and rock's "unluckiest band" are still a very good and tight unit, Joe Elliot's voice can't hit the peaks on various songs from Pyromania and Hysteria (but in fairness I suspect that Lep hit the big leagues despite rather than because of Joe's ability to hit the high notes!). That little gripe aside this was to all intents and purposes a "greatest hits" concert and the boys delivered in spades in a great venue

Styx's vocalist STILL has the same pitch voice as in their 80's heyday - just amazing

Foreigner were actually a lot more hard rocking than I remember,
unfortunately the sound mixing engineer fluffed his job quite a bit -
though it really didn't detract from what was a 1st class performance

Journey - unbelievable!! Their new lead singer (found on YouTube of all
places) is just amazing he sure has some lungs on him at lent them a
quite a rocky edge the lead guitarist (Neal Schon IIRC) was a genius and
the drummer surprised by not only being very, very good but also doing
lead vocals (exceedingly well) while belting the skins off the drums (ok
I know before y'all say it Phil Collins was doing this a few years back
but it still takes some talent to do this!)
