I totally agree, i havnt a clue what is no.1 now either, and at least back then you could understand the words of what was being sung, where as nowadays its all rap, and hip hop.

Listening to the Chart Show on Radio 1 on a Sunday Night was also a must to see what the new Number 1 was... I couldn't even tell you what the Number was now (and who cares!!!!)

That was the highlight of my week. It was the topic of the classroom the next morning.
