Since the quizz the other day i havnt stopped listening to my Thompson Twins cds, and thought it would be a good idea to do a top 10 list of my favourite songs of theirs

1. Tears - 1983 - from the "Quick Step and Side Kick" album, if one song stood out from all the other Thompson Twins ones, it was this one.

2. Hold me Now - 1984 - from "Into the Gap" love this, and always sing along to it

3. In The Name of Love" - 1982 - First song that made me take notice of the Thompson Twins

4. The Gap - 1984 - another one from "Into the Gap", got a real middle eastern feel to it, along with a catchy tune

5. Jundy Do - 1983 - Another one from "Quick Step and Side Kick".Thi Think this song was written about the late Judy Garland, always makes me think of her when i hear it.

6. King for a Day - 1987 - This is on my Thompson Twins Greatest Mixes.

7. Love on Your Side - 1983 - yet another from "Quick Step and Side Kick", anothe one with the middle eastern feel to it.

8. Doctor Doctor - 1984 - "into The Gap", another good one to sing along too

9. Revoloution - 1985 - from my Thompson Twins the Collection album, they gave this Lennon, Mcartney song a new twist, with their synthasized sound.

10. We are Detective - 1983 - "Quick Step and Side Kick", I love how Alannah's voice really stands out on this one.

There are few more that i could of named but i'd say these are definately my favourites.
